- preliminary task: we had to using image manipulation create a front cover for a school magazine, the amount of time i spent on the task was not sufficient and i didn't get positive response or enough marks. i only had limited understanding of the programs used to create the magazine cover, i also didn't feel like i had apt teaching and learning of this program. so the final product of the prelim task wasn't to the standard i had hoped for. However, this is due to my non sufficient understanding and knowledge of the doctoring programs and not enough time into the project.

- questionnaire: using online questionnaire templates we had to make an online survey for our school magazine, to see what "real students" want in their school magazine. my survey didn't get many responses from my audience so i didn't get the survey response i needed to construct an appropriate audience responded magazine.
- font testing:we font tested to see what different fonts on different websites looked and how they related to the subject for our magazine. i tried many different fonts to see how they related to the magazine i settled on my top 3 and made 3 mock up with the different fonts to see what one would resonate more with my theme of the magazine and the audience.
